The Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, in cooperation with the BSC Bar Foundation and the Regional Business Centre Berane, successfully organized the seminar “Innovative Approaches to Fundraising for SMEs”, held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the premises of the Regional Business Centre in Berane.
The event gathered 14 representatives of small, micro, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the northern region of Montenegro, who had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about different models and strategies for financing their business ideas and projects.
The aim of the seminar was to empower enterprises by improving their understanding of opportunities for fundraising, both from traditional and innovative sources – including grants, crowdfunding platforms, and partnerships with the private sector.
The lecturer, Mr. Radivoje Drobnjak, Program Activities Manager at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, shared his extensive experience and examples of good practices in preparing competitive project proposals and presented concrete tools that can support the development and implementation of business ideas.
During the seminar, special emphasis was placed on diversifying funding sources, practical application of the acquired knowledge, and building enterprise capacity for sustainable growth and development.
The event concluded with an open discussion and exchange of experiences among participants, who expressed great satisfaction with the content and usefulness of the workshop.
