EEN Tourism Sector Group Meeting in Paestum, Italy

Ivana Tomasevic, Director of the Business Start-Up Centre Bar (BSC Bar), took part in the recent Tourism Sector Group (TSG) meeting of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), held in Paestum, Italy.

The Tourism Sector Group (TSG) is a collaborative platform within the EEN that supports the competitiveness and internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the tourism industry. Its mission includes providing guidance on EU funding opportunities, technology transfer, business cooperation, and policy development, with a particular emphasis on digital transformation, innovation, and sustainable growth.

At the event, Ms. Tomasevic presented the Tasks for Working Group 4 – Training and Good Practices and Synergies with other Sector Groups, focusing on ways to strengthen collaboration between sector groups, promote exchange of good practices, and develop targeted training initiatives to enhance SME capacities in the tourism sector.

The meeting gathered EEN representatives and tourism experts from across Europe to discuss upcoming initiatives, joint activities, and new opportunities for international cooperation. The city of Paestum, known for its remarkable archaeological sites and cultural heritage, offered an inspiring setting for strategic dialogue on the future of tourism.

BSC Bar, as an active member of the EEN Montenegro consortium, continues to contribute to the network’s efforts in fostering innovation, cross-border partnerships, and sustainable development in the tourism sector.
