BSC Bar continues its mission of supporting entrepreneurship with new projects, especially supporting young people's entrepreneurial initiatives. Through the new project 'YES Venture - Youth Entrepreneurship Support Project', we planned to offer the target group, young people aged 18 to 35: trainings that will improve their competencies for self-employment or employment with employers, then microcredit support for starting a business, mentor support to set up and run businesses, internship with local employers, as well as networking and promoting their potential entrepreneurial initiatives. The project is supported by the Embassy of USA in Podgorica, and all activities that will be organized until October 2020 are available to users free of charge. The idea was for the project to include high school seniors, students, as well as other unemployed young people seeking employment or wanting to start their own businesses. The theme of the first training, which is planned for November, is 'Searching and Testing a Business Idea - From Idea to Business' and aims to get young people engaged in entrepreneurial thinking and their activity when it comes to tackling economic independence. In addition to our standard training on legal and tax issues when starting a business, preparing a business plan, etc., we also planned training related to an entrepreneurial career in the digital world, following trends where even today young people could find their self-employment. All training will take place at the Business Center in Bar. The trainers in the training will be experts in particular areas with experience in private business, so they will act as a motivator for young people with their personal examples. Following the training, micro-credit support is planned for next spring through the Best Business Plan Competition for young people who persist in the idea of starting their own businesses, and the support of mentors, then business practices with local employers, and networking and promoting entrepreneurial ideas. All those interested in participating can apply through application forms that will be featured on the website in a timely manner, and through their social media account, BSC Bar will highlight more detailed information about each individual activity.
